Hammond Hall Today

Welcome to Winter Harbor, Hometown Memories: Vintage photographs used as focal points for Mixed Media Art.

This building was built by Mr. Hammond, whose photo is included behind the window frame in the art piece.   Hammond Hall was used for school basketball games, public dances, meetings, other events and the yearly Town Meeting.

The building today belongs to the Winter Harbor Historical Society and is operated as an Arts Center by Schoodic Arts for All.  It usually hosts a wide variety of artists who show their work, share classes and workshops and is the location for many meeting, performances and special events.  Schoodic Arts for All hosts a yearly two week Festival that includes over 80 workshops and classes, luncheon and evening performances, a final showcase and an auction.  This event will be held July 27-Aug 9, 2015.
